Dr. Håvard Nymoen has extensive professional experience from eighteen years of working as a consultant and as a managing director or employee in companies in the German and European energy industry. He has relevant knowledge of the functioning and requirements of deregulated markets, in particular the interaction of public and private companies in the context of share sales, cooperations and remunicipalizations. For many years, Dr. Nymoen has been responsible for the development of new markets, products and cooperation concepts in the fields of electricity, gas and heat as well as waste disposal. The focus of his consulting experience is on strategy and M&A consulting. He has developed and implemented market entry strategies and cooperation approaches for domestic and foreign investors and municipal companies, primarily in the utilities sector. The development of climate concepts and strategies for the heating market of the future is increasingly becoming a core topic of his work. Another focus is the development of power plants and projects based on renewable energies, especially wind and biogas. In the development and communication of corresponding concepts in the political sphere, Dr. Nymoen contributes his expertise in the energy sector as well as his knowledge of political decision-making processes.
